Vasquez entered their tilt with Palmdale Academy Charter School on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 20-1 margin over the Jaguars. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by nine runs or more this season.

Mariah Pulido made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sadie Mendoza, who fired off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-3. Faith Nasrallah was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs.

Vasquez was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .483. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .316 or higher in six consecutive contests.

Vasquez's record is now 10-7. As for Palmdale Academy Charter School, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
