Cowanesque Valley is 8-2 against Williamson since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Indians will head out to face off against the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Cowanesque Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Oswayo Valley on Wednesday as they made off with a 19-2 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

04/01/25 @ Sayre | 2 |

The team relied heavily on Lilah LaBarron, who went 2-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and one double. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Zeraya Wilson was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.
Cowanesque Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .645. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Williamson came out on top against Sayre on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run third inning. The Warriors never let the Sabres get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.
Olivia Gee made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs.
In other batting news, Kaegen Short and Savannah Dean did most of the damage at the plate: Short went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs and one RBI, while Dean went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Joelie Stephens also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Williamson pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Cowanesque Valley, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7.
Cowanesque Valley skirted past Williamson 1-0 when the teams last played back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
