Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Garber

Garber entered their tilt with Pinconning on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with an 11-7 victory over the Spartans. Jae Shooltz was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Zwetzig, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

Garber pushed their record up to 13-12 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Pinconning, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Garber will have a chance to go back-to-back against Pinconning: the pair will be back at it again later today.
