Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Phillipsburg). They enjoyed a cozy 75-59 victory over the Watchung Hills Regional Warriors on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Stateliners who have now won seven contests in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Phillipsburg to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ethan White-Philpot, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 14 points in addition to seven assists and five steals. The dominant performance gave White-Philpot a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Scerbo Jr., who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten assists.
White-Philpot wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Phillipsburg was working as a unit and finished the game with 24 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
