Concordia took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They put the hurt on the Smithton Tigers with a sharp 9-3 win. The Fighting Orioles haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Concordia will challenge Northwestern at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Smithton, they will take on Leeton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
