Mojave had won six straight games and Derriah Wren did her part to make it seven on Monday. The Mojave Rattlers snuck past the Bonanza Bengals with a 25-19 win thanks in part to Wren, who rushed for 150 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. Those 150 rushing yards gave her a new career-high.

Mojave didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Itali Gibson and Zariyah Palmer. Gibson has been hot recently, having also posted at least one defended passe the last three times she's played.

Mojave pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.3 points per game. As for Bonanza, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mojave will square off against Green Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mojave is facing Green Valley at the right time seeing as Green Valley is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bonanza, they will be playing at home against Mater Academy East Las Vegas at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bonanza's defense has only allowed 6.3 points per game this season, so Mater Academy East Las Vegas' offense will have their work cut out for them.
