AAA Region VII recap September 17, 2013
Socastee extended the longest winning streak in AAA Region VII this week by beating Conway, 60-14. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Braves.
Socastee was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after topping the Tigers. Doug Illing's team came in at 23 in the state poll after placing at number 28 last week.
Wilson's TJ Frederick and Christian Bruce have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-3 quarterback Frederick has thrown for 319 yards this season, while Bruce has 7 catches for 137 yards. Allen Crum from St. James leads the league in rushing with 164 yards.
St. James was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from sixth to fourth in the league.
