It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Grandview Prep Pride had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They walked away with a 48-40 victory over the Warriors. The victory was nothing new for Grandview Prep as they're now sitting on 11 straight.
Grandview Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Markenson Jordonne led the charge by scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. Jordonne is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games he's played. Marco Jordonne was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Grandview Prep's victory bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Trinity Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.
Grandview Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-55 defeat vs. Atlantic Christian on the 10th. Trinity Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
