The biggest upset of the week belonged to Woodland, who took down 115th ranked Woodland, 14-6.
Ranburne moved up to 271 from 323 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 2A Region 6. A 14-6 win over the Bobcats helped the Bulldogs improve their standing.
Woodland's John Wes Adcock and Tyler Rollins have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Adcock has thrown for 409 yards this season, while Rollins, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has seven catches for 164 yards. Ardarius Stewart from Fultondale leads the league in rushing with 1024 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Wellborn takes on Stephen Bailey's team. As it stands, the Panthers are in first, while the Bobcats are in third.
Vincent extended the longest winning streak in 2A Region 6 this week by beating Victory Christian, 59-16. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Yellowjackets.
