Ryan Mason gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in February on Friday. Nobody could stop him as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. O'Connor is undefeated when Mason allows one or fewer earned runs, but 6-8 otherwise.

Coming up, Mason and O'Connor are taking a road trip to challenge San Marcos at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Panthers will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 208 places lower in Texas), but they're not letting that get them down.
