Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fullerton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caden Wise, who rushed for 85 yards on only 11 carries, and also picked up 79 receiving yards. Wise also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending one pass. Evan Tellez-Soria was another key back, rushing for 69 yards and a pair of scores on only six carries.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Fullerton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 272 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as La Quinta only rushed for 168.
