Volleyball Recap: Calhoun Extends Winning Streak to Four

Calhoun came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Christian Heritage Lions by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Yellow Jackets also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.

Calhoun not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Christian Heritage between 16 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16.

Calhoun's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addie Hite led the charge by getting eight assists and four aces. Those four aces gave Hite a new career-high.

Calhoun's victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Calhoun wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against East Coweta on the 14th. As for Christian Heritage, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Coahulla Creek on the 12th.
