Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They lost  13-3 to the Scotland/Menno Trappers.
 For Scotland/Menno's part,  Olivia Binde made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing six innings while giving up  three earned runs off   six  hits. Binde has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in nine consecutive pitching appearances. Binde was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news, Scotland/Menno let  Trinity Bietz and  Kimmy Kubal loose on the outfield. Bietz  went 3-for-3 with a  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs, while  Kubal  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 3-for-3.  Amanda Rames was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Scotland/Menno, the  win was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.
