Prospect Hill Academy can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They snuck past Innovation Academy with a 57-51 win. That six points margin sets a new team best for Prospect Hill Academy this season.
Despite the loss, Innovation Academy still got an impressive performance from Derrick Twum, who scored 28 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. That was a full 54.9% of Innovation Academy's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Kankam, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Prospect Hill Academy's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-3. As for Innovation Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4.
