Pickens took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They blew past the Landrum Cardinals 9-1. For the Blue Flame, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Cardinals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2022.
Pickens' offense was hitting Landrum from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Ashton Smith led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.
