The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Twiggs Academy in their matchups with John Hancock Academy: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the loss, Twiggs Academy still got an impressive performance from Josh Nobles, who scored 26 points along with nine rebounds. That was a full 78.8% of Twiggs Academy's points, marking the tenth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Dupree, who scored four points along with five rebounds.
John Hancock Academy had a senior duo take command as David Wilkerson scored 17 points and Heath Brake scored 13 points. Josh Boswell was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Twiggs Academy dropped their record down to 1-9 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for John Hancock Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.
