After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Durant, the Lennard Longhorns were happy to have found some success on Wednesday. They came out on top against Jefferson by a score of 41-29. This was payback for Lennard, who suffered a 35-27 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Kyah Vance continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points along with six steals. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for her. Kimora Davis was another key contributor, scoring three points along with six rebounds.
Lennard's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Jefferson, they bumped their record down to 2-7 with that defeat, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.
