The Macon County Tigers will be playing at home against the Greenbrier Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Macon County has three straight victories, Greenbrier has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Tuesday, Macon County was able to grind out a solid victory over White House, taking the game 45-35.
Among those leading the charge was Kaydence Walrond, who scored 19 points. Another player making a difference was Laityn Kirby, who scored eight points.
Greenbrier suffered their closest defeat yet this season two weeks ago. They fell just short of White House by a score of 40-37.
Macon County pushed their record up to 14-6 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Greenbrier, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
Macon County didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Greenbrier in their previous matchup on January 9th, but they still walked away with a 51-47 win.
