The Birch Run Panthers will face off against the Webberville Spartans at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Birch Run's pitching crew heads into the  matchup  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Monday. They blew past Mt. Morris 15-0. The  victory was some much needed relief for Birch Run as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, Webberville made easy work of Montrose  on Monday and carried off  a  15-4 win.
Webberville got a  massive  performance out of  Valerie Grosser, who  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with two  doubles, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. Those  two  doubles gave  Grosser a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Lexi Proctor, who  went 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI.
 Webberville  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Montrose struck out seven times.
 The  victory  got Birch Run back to even at 7-7. As for Webberville,  the  win  got them back to even at 8-8.
