Football Recap: St. Catherine's Has No Trouble Against Martin Luther

While St. Catherine put up some points on Friday, the same can't be said for Martin Luther. The Angels put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 21-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Angels' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Spartans are ranked 136th).

The win made it two in a row for St. Catherine's and bumps their season record up to 4-1. The team dominated over those games too, winning by an average of 21.5 points. As for Martin Luther, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-2 record.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. St. Catherine's is set to square off against their familiar foe University School of Milwaukee at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. Meanwhile, Martin Luther will challenge rival St. Thomas More at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
