Wallace County entered their tilt with Stanton County on Friday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 61-50 win over the Stanton County Trojans. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 69-35 loss the last time these two teams met.

David Crane and Gerardo Robles certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Crane dropped a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds, while Robles went 8-for-14 on his way to 23 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. What's more, Crane posted four blocks, the most he's had since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Arihm Gonzalez, who earned six points along with seven rebounds and six assists.

Wallace County's victory bumped their record up to 11-8-1. As for Stanton County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-6.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats challenge the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stanton County, they will face off against Sublette at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stanton County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.4 points per game this season.
