The St. Charles Pirates will play host again and welcome the Wright City Wildcats, where tip off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
St. Charles suffered their biggest loss yet this season two weeks ago. They were beaten by Ursuline Academy 73-23. While losing is never fun, St. Charles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 336th, while Ursuline Academy is ranked 46th).
Meanwhile, Wright City had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They snuck past Christian Fellowship with a 57-51 win on Friday. Wright City's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
St. Charles bumped their record down to 3-7 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Wright City, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8.
St. Charles strolled past Wright City in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 by a score of 55-36. Does St. Charles have another victory up their sleeve, or will Wright City turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
