Middle College won the last time they faced Animo Venice and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Cougars put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 10-1 victory. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six runs or more this season.

Middle College is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Animo Venice, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.
