The Skyview Hawks will look to defend their home court against the Bishop Kelly Knights at 7:30 p.m. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Skyview has struggled recently with five defeats in a row, while Bishop Kelly will arrive with three straight victories.
Skyview lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the loss they were handed on two weeks ago was a bit more commanding. They were the victim of a rough 58-34 defeat at the hands of Ridgevue. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Skyview has suffered since November 10, 2023.
Meanwhile, Bishop Kelly stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Emmett 64-29 at home. Given Bishop Kelly's advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 26th, while Emmett is ranked 86th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Skyview has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Bishop Kelly, they pushed their record up to 13-4 with that victory, which was their 17th straight at home.
