Lincoln-Way Central is a perfect 9-0 against Homewood-Flossmoor since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Knights will host the Vikings at 4:30 p.m. Lincoln-Way Central will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
Lincoln-Way Central is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Illinois' top teams: St. Charles North, who was ranked sixth at the time (Lincoln-Way Central was ranked first). The Knights never let the North Stars get on the board and left with a 4-0 win on Thursday.
Not much got past Lisabella Dimitrijevic, who gave up just a hit and racked up 18 Ks to keep St. Charles North off the board. Dimitrijevic has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run in six consecutive appearances.
