Mt. Ayr will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Interstate 35 at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Mt. Ayr, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Mt. Ayr had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past Nodaway Valley 36-0.
Meanwhile, Interstate 35 had to kick off their season on the road last week, but they showed no ill effects. They took their game against Central Decatur 26-12.
Their wins bumped Mt. Ayr to 1-0 and Interstate 35 to 1-0. While both teams are coming in off of wins, only one will triumph this week. Who will it be ? Watch the game and check back in with MaxPreps for details.
