Zeeland East strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Western Michigan Christian Warriors by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Chix, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Zeeland East might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Western Michigan Christian scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19.

Zeeland East's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Western Michigan Christian, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Zeeland East will challenge Unity Christian at 6:00 p.m. on September 4. As for Western Michigan Christian, they will head out to square off against Allendale at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
