Morgan Sweet was her usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with eight rebounds and three steals for Southeast Career Tech. Sweet is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Trystan Bazile, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Amplus Academy dropped their record down to 0-13 with that loss, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 13.8 points per game. As for Southeast Career Tech, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-13.
Amplus Academy will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Lions at 5:00 p.m. Somerset Academy Losee presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Archers in Nevada (the Lions are ranked 31st, while the Archers are ranked 108th). As for Southeast Career Tech, they will head out on the road to take on the Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Valley is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
