After a string of five wins, the Independence Falcons's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They received a tough blow as they fell 77-62 to Bakersfield Christian. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (57), Independence still had to take the loss.
Despite the loss, Independence still got an impressive performance from AMARIUS "AR" ROWEL, who went 8 for 14 from beyond the arc en route to 31 points and 5 assists. DAVIAN LEON was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Independence's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-8. As for Bakersfield Christian, they pushed their record up to 18-10 with that victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.
Independence does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bakersfield Christian also has no future games currently scheduled.
