After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Roxboro Community, River Mill was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Central Carolina Academy Eagles a 13-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won six games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Gavin Loy made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 14 over five innings pitched.
