Oakwood Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 62-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Temple Christian Academy. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Temple Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jeramy Trangmar led the charge by scoring 24 points along with six rebounds. Trangmar hasn't dropped below 15points for eight straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Moses, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Oakwood Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Temple Christian Academy, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 14-3.
Oakwood Christian and Hampton Park Christian will face off at 8:00 p.m. on January 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
