The Renaissance Academy Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 44-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bristol. Renaissance Academy has not had much luck with Bristol recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nico Villa, who scored 12 points. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for him. Ed Breazeale IV was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Renaissance Academy's defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-5. As for Bristol, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
Renaissance Academy is on the road again on Monday and play against Calvary Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 18th. Bristol will be home for the holidays to greet The Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
