There's no place like home for Alhambra, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They put the hurt on the North Mustangs with a sharp 18-0 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Ricardo Fonseca was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Omar Marrufo, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Alhambra always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .636. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North only posted an OBP of .353.

Alhambra is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for North, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Alhambra will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Mustangs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
