North Haven came into Saturday's matchup having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Telstar Rebels by a score of 41-33 on Saturday. The Hawks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

North Haven's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Telstar, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

It'll be Battle of the Birds when the North Haven Hawks challenge the Islesboro Central Eagles at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Telstar, they will head out to face off against Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Telstar likes a good challenge.
