Valders has gone 8-2 against Roncalli recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Vikings will welcome the Jets at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Roncalli will be up against a hot Valders team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. The Vikings blew past Sheboygan Falls 27-14 on Monday. The Vikings' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The team relied heavily on Carter Valleskey, who got on base in four of his seven plate appearances with four stolen bases, six RBI, and two runs. Those six RBI gave him a new career-high. Cameron Scheffler was another key player, getting on base in five of his six plate appearances with five runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Roncalli got themselves on the board against Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran on Monday, but Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Blazers with a sharp 10-0 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Jets considering their one-run performance the game before.
Ryan Cole made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Cole was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. He has become a key player for Roncalli: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 4-7 otherwise.
In other batting news, Sawyer Van Drisse was incredible, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Roncalli's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is undefeated (and 5-7 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Aiden Jergenson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
Roncalli always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Valders' win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Roncalli, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-7.
Valders came out on top in a nail-biter against Roncalli when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Jets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
