Basketball Game Preview: First Coast Christian Knights vs. Eagle's View Warriors

First Coast Christian hasn't had much luck against Eagle's View recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The First Coast Christian Knights will face off against the Eagle's View Warriors at 8:15 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

First Coast Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Hope Christian Academy 87-26 on Tuesday. The Knights pushed the score to 54-18 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lions had no chance of recovering from.

David Ellis Jr. continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 22 points and ten assists. Ellis Jr. is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Aidyn Farrell, who went 5 of 12 en route to 13 points along with seven steals and six boards.

Meanwhile, Eagle's View waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 67-45 victory. With the Warriors ahead 44-19 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Eagle's View is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for First Coast Christian, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-6.

First Coast Christian ended up a good deal behind Eagle's View in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, losing 61-46. Can First Coast Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
