Mammoth has gone a perfect 10-0 against Boron recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Huskies will welcome the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. Mammoth is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last 11 games.
Mammoth won the last time they faced Bishop Union and Aspen Wight did her part to make sure it happened again. The Huskies walked away with a 3-1 win over the Broncos on Tuesday for which the team can thank Wight, who had 12 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.
While Mammoth might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Bishop Union scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-23, 23-25, 25-21.

Sophia Ayala and Addison Koenig were among the main playmakers for Mammoth as the former had ten digs and the latter had 13 digs, six kills, and one block. That's the most digs Ayala has posted since back in September.
Mammoth was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 11 consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Boron lost 3-0 to Kern Valley on Tuesday.
Boron was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Kern Valley work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-9, 25-9.
Mammoth's victory bumped their record up to 28-4-1. As for Boron, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-15-1.
Mammoth took their win against Boron in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Huskies repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
