The biggest upset of the week belonged to McKeesport, who defeated 141st ranked Hempfield Area, 24-10. Mikell Moore ran for 156 yards in the win.
Justice Evans of Kiski Area ran for the longest rushing play in WPIAL AAAA Foothills this season against Connellsville last week. Evans' team bested the Falcons as he sprinted for 58 yards on the play and finished with 69 in all.
Kiski Area's dynamic duo of Chad Kuhn and Joe Brungo proved tough for Connellsville to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Kuhn threw for 165 yards and 2 touchdowns and Brungo had 94 yards receiving. Patrick Turner helped Kiski Area's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 20 yards.
Dave Heavner's team's dynamic duo of Kuhn and Brungo proved to be unstoppable against Dave McDonald's team, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
