The defending Class 3A state champions return three of the top four players in the state, according to Perfect Game.
J.t. Rogoszewski, a right-handed pitcher, is headed to North Carolina, while
Trey Dawson, a shortstop, will play at LSU and
Tate Brock, a catcher, will play for West Virginia. Both Rogoszewski and Dawson earned all-state honors as juniors.

Jefferson fell to Washington (Charles Town) in the state playoffs, but the Cougars return two of the top infielders in the state in junior
Paul Witt and senior
Andrew King. Witt led the team with a .443 batting average while King batted .430 and drove in 35 runs. The two also combined to turn 19 double plays on the season.

The Patriots reached the state baseball tournament for the first time since 1989 thanks to the performance of
Michael Grove, an outfielder/pitcher who has committed to play at West Virginia next season. Grove had a 1.31 ERA last year and batted .475 with 25 RBIs.
Daniel Baciak also returns after earning honorable mention all-state honors.
