Even though the Kemmerer Rangers have not done well against the Rich Rebels recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Kemmerer walked away with a 39-30 win over Rich. The win made it back-to-back wins for Kemmerer.
Despite the defeat, Rich had strong showings from Violett Taylor, who scored 9 points along with 3 steals, and Hannah Scott, who scored 8 points along with 3 steals.
Kemmerer now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Rich, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kemmerer will be home for the holidays to greet Rocky Mountain at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Rich will take on Cokeville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
