Prairie Home had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They took down the Stover Bulldogs 75-56. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 421st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Prairie Home has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points per game. As for Stover, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Prairie Home Panthers take on the New Bloomfield Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Prairie Home is facing New Bloomfield at the right time seeing as New Bloomfield is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Stover, they will square off against Sacred Heart at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
