The Battle Spartans will square off against the Parkview Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Parkview took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Battle, who comes in off a win.
Last Thursday, Battle was able to grind out a solid win over Central, taking the game 53-45. The win made it back-to-back wins for Battle.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Parkview, who are still winless after their fifth match. They took a hard 48-33 fall against Springfield Catholic on Monday. Parkview has struggled against Springfield Catholic recently, as their contest on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Parkview got a solid performance out of Brooklynn Masten, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 15 rebounds.
The win got Battle back to even at 2-2. As for Parkview, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
