  Lily Mulkey was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. Mulkey was also big at the plate,  scoring four  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-5.
 In other batting news,  Hannah Durham was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with a  home run, six  RBI,  and four  runs. Another player making a difference was  Zoe Sullivan, who  got on base  in four of her six plate appearances with a  home run, four  runs,  and five  RBI.
 Meanwhile,  Travelers Rest unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Thursday. They wound up on the wrong side of a  tough 7-0 walloping at the hands of Chapman. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Travelers Rest has not been shut out since  back in March.
 Blue Ridge has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight games,  which provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record  this season. As for Travelers Rest, their loss dropped their record down to 12-4.
