Football Recap: Redlands East Valley Piles Up the Points Against Yucaipa

While Redlands East Valley put up plenty of points on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Yucaipa. The Wildcats blew past the Thunderbirds, posting a 33-0 win. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Charlotte Cox continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 94 yards and a pair of scores on only nine carries, while also throwing for 283 yards on 21 of 30 attempts. What's more, she posted two rushing touchdowns, the most she's had over her last five games. Maggie Whittemore also helped with two TDs in total.

The victory snapped Redlands East Valley's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 14-5 record. As for Yucaipa, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-7.

The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Wildcats 8.8, the Cougars 6.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
