After a string of three wins, Christian Liberty's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 66-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Harvest Christian Academy.
Meanwhile, Westlake Christian Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They came out on top against Schaumburg Christian by a score of 66-58. The win was a breath of fresh air for Westlake Christian Academy as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
David Magnuson had a dynamite game for Westlake Christian Academy, scoring 16 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Nieze, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds.
Christian Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Westlake Christian Academy, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-12.
Everything came up roses for Christian Liberty against Westlake Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 61-27 victory. With Christian Liberty ahead 42-12 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
