The Haverford School Fords will be playing at home against Friends' Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Saturday, Haverford School came up short against Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic and fell 54-47. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Haverford School in their matchups with Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic: they've now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, Friends' Central entered their tilt with Audenried with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Everything went Friends' Central's way against Audenried on Friday as Friends' Central made off with a 68-44 win. The result was nothing new for Friends' Central, who have now won three matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.
Friends' Central's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Patrese Feamster, who scored 17 points. The match was Feamster's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Muhsin Muhammad was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
The wins kept both teams' perfect 1-1 season records intact.
Haverford School didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Friends' Central when the teams last played back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 58-54 win. Does Haverford School have another victory up their sleeve, or will Friends' Central turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
