Knoch had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Derry Trojans. Considering the Knights have won seven matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Knoch's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Derry, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Knoch and Derry could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Knights (ranked 129th) will meet Pine-Richland (ranked 33rd) at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Derry will square off against Franklin Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (288 vs. 30).
