Nate Ruan put up the most runs he's had since back in February on Wednesday. He went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Carson's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 2-8 when he doesn't).

Ruan's strong effort led Carson over Gardena and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Colts are a perfect 9-0 against the Panthers going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
