Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rancho Verde). They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the La Quinta Blackhawks 86-32. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 39 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Rancho Verde and bumps their season record up to 4-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.5 points over those games. As for La Quinta, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Rancho Verde won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Silverado at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for La Quinta, they and Coachella Valley will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday without much rest, having both just played.
