While ALA - Anthem South didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against the Gilbert Classical Academy Spartans on Tuesday as ALA - Anthem South made off with a 25-5 victory. Considering the Titans have won seven matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

ALA - Anthem South got a massive performance out of Presley Barton, who went 3-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and five RBI. Barton is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Kylie Dean was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5.

ALA - Anthem South hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in three consecutive contests.

ALA - Anthem South's record is now 8-3. As for Gilbert Classical Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

ALA - Anthem South didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 19-0 defeat against Santa Cruz Valley on the 26th. As for Gilbert Classical Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 27-4 loss against Miami on the 28th.
